I got mine a week or two ago.

I think it was CameraHouse, but they took 3 months, because the
supplier can't meet the demand.

They're not light. I'm yet to find a satisfactory mounting for mine
(I did temporarily, but when I used the helmet a few hours ago, it was
loose again[1]).

Haven't been on the bike properly for months (cast me out), so can't
make proper use of it yet. Eventually, I will take a movie of me
flying down the local mountain, then put it on my work website on the
justifcation that it is related to work -- getting home thereof 🙂

Don't think I will be at goatage this Friday, but wouldn't rule out
sometime in the next 3 weeks. When is it next on?

[1] It doesn't help that my helmet is already so busy with
electronics[2]

[2] Don't worry, in the event of a crash, my noggin will protect the
electronics from damage

Hi Tim, glad to see ya back in town.
The next regular goatage is on Fri 10th. but there's an outside chance
Soiler may be there this Friday. (Rumour has it the new double stout is
nearly ready)

So true, and the more expensive the component, the more likely it is
to preserve the fuse by blowing up.

I've been using my Panasonic FX01's movie mode. Quality is actually pretty good, the biggest problem is at full quality you can only fit 20-25 minutes of video on a 2BG memory card (the largest size it takes).
