Hi all
We've finally got round to adding reports & photos to www.wheresthepath.com
for our first 3 days on the Capital Ring (Woolwich to South Kenton
heading clockwise). You can find them here:
http://www.wheresthepath.com/capital_ring/capital_ring_intro.htm
A word of warning - there was so much to see that the reports got a
bit long, & we've split each day over 2 pages - you can move between
the pages using the links at the bottom of the report.
The final 2 days (South Kenton back to Woolwich, plus the Thames Path
Extension to Erith) will be added when I get time to write them up
(so, next year maybe...?)
I have to say, it was a most enjoyable trail, despite being
ridiculously easy - there's loads to see and it's surprisingly "green"
for central London. My only gripe would be the high proportion of
tarmac - even through woodland (i'm assuming the health and safety
brigade have been out in force).
Cheers all
Anth
