Pretty fish.
Some ne-er-do-well purported professional glass artist made off with
my inherited very fine Venetian glass fish art piece, without
repairing it as promised. He moved to Colorado and we can't find him
or my artwork. Anyone know William Hutt?

I should hope not! Well unless you're in Japan.

Thank you.
It's a Baccarat crystal piece I got as a gift from my whale watching days
in Hawaii.
Sorry to hear of your substantial loss! 🙁 Should I meet a W. Hutt, should
I conveniently spill a pot of boiling oil on his crotch???

Nice photo, Andy. I have a blue Baccarat whale just like the one in your
photo, and a large, clear one.
Hawaii sounds like a place I should visit.

Ever had shira uo?
They're glassy little fish, about the size of a skinny pinkie finger.
The only color in them is a hint of smoke, and two little
black eye spots that look like they're drawn on by touching
the fish with a felt-tip pen.
They're served raw as gunkan sushi (where the rice ball
is wrapped vertically with nori to make a container for
the fish, eggs, etc).
That picture reminded me of that.
