They occasionally come up on eBay, but I can't find any bike shop or
website in the UK selling them.

Have you tried CRC. It might be worth firing an email off to them even if
they don't have one listed on the website. They have helped me out with XTR
spares in the past.

Chain Reaction, Ribble, etc. to name a few). They *occasionally* come up
on eBay but I want one *NOW*.

For certain values of "in the UK" ... Assuming that the hostnames of the
routers are as meaningful as they look, then traceroute www.ebay.co.uk
goes off through New York, Chicago, Denver and San Jose (that latter
location being where eBay is, in a corporate sense, AFAICS).
