A bunch of the ole reg'lars have pretty much bailed. I think they're
smarter than us. This joint's been hijacked by trolls. My last gasp
I think was the Sweet Connie ride report. Don't get a true half day
epic in to write about any more... and I know it was wasted on Libby
and Vandemaniac, but in any case, I'm heading out for a 3 day riding
weekend that I mentioned at the start of the RR, so adios, flamingos!

It is pretty dead around these parts. I've even resorted to taking
breaks from the office, walking to the shop on the next block and taking
about riding with actual people. Face to face!
We do need a woman's touch around here but I think we (or a subset of
"we"😉 scared them all away.

I was expecting more interest and discussion after my last RR too. Oh
well...

Well...

No, not really. I just miss some of the old lively conversations that
usually revolved around rounding or bikes in general. C'est la vie. I
guess there are other outlets and I certainly do get to ride with more
people than I did in the past.

I think I am going to grab my backpack, fill it with some stuff, grab
the tent, and go for a solo night in the hills tonight.

Amen Mitch. It is pretty dead but I still like to read the few RR's that do
still come through. I don't post many myself anymore mainly because it's
flat land riding (well, Appalachian hills riding) which doesn't warrant that
much horn tooting if you know what I mean.

Don't get discouraged. We're all still here (at least some of us !)
