I got an earache. I suspect it happened from swimming. Don't want it to happen again.
I have no idea what to get for earplugs. Do general purpose ear plugs work well? Of course blocking out sound wouldn't be necessary.
I'm not sure if general plugs sold at K-mart are designed for underwater use.
Get properly designed swimming ear plugs. Ones designed for sound attenuation e.g. foam, will not work. Any good sports shop or even a chemist (drug store) should sell them.
I used the Speedos last year and they were pretty good. The only problem was their hard plastic handle. This made them unconvertable to wear under a cap, because the cap would press them farther inward.
I just bought full rubber ones from a local sports store (the sell intersport ones). But I have yet to try them.
