  1. What is the most common, or most recomended crank length for a 5'2" (and
growing) trials and some street rider?

  2. I think most trials riders use 137s, while street riders may go shorter,
    like 127s.

most trials riders are only 137s because KH made them that length.
typically trials riders are 145 or 140
street riders typically do go shorter to 125 but plenty ride longer.
it is mainly a matter of opinion and personally i prefer 145s for
    everything on a 20"

  4. one of the companies should make like 133's. something in between the
125 range and 140 range. so that riders that ride trials and street
    have a nice mix.

hmm...That's funny. I was under the impression that most people
considered the 145's that come on the Qu-Ax trials to be a little too
long, and that's why Kris made his 137's.

And I also remember when KH sold his trials with 127 cranks (in fact,
that's what mine have) and I often have problems bashing my pedals on
the ground on turns, so I don't think I'd want any longer.

Wasn't there a thread some time ago about someone proposing the idea
of making a 22inch wheel, so that you could have a mix between both
    trials and muni?

have problems hitting with those... how long are stock dx cranks?

    nonsense
145's are the best crank lenght ever. no mention of 145 on profiles of
course. maybe people like shorter cranks for trials, i know they suck
(no one tell me other wise because this is my opinion and not sure i
    really care otherwise)
