it does seem a harsh overreaction, but WADA/UCI regs state that not completing and submitting whereabouts documentation is as good as a positive result, resulting in penalties and sanctions. So if he hasn't submitted his whereabouts documentation regularly, or kept it up to date, then he has breached the rules.

BTW Mikey, it was the Danish Federation that dropped him, Chicken sure is Dänsk but as we all know, he rides for the HoogleHollanders of the Rabobank Team from the country next door... I guess all the lowcountries can be mistaken for lowlands...fish cheese beer blondes... too many distractions for chicken to plan his day to accommodate the WADA vampires/fun police !!

wonder if he will entertain us so much again on the TT's? ... he sure has looked awkward & uncomfy on his TT bike in the past on the longer ITT stages... probably thinking about a hot date and not the parcours or the WADA inspectors heheh!

apparently he trains a lot in Mexico... and can't nail his movements as easily as his federation would like...that would certainly peeve the WADA & Danish (??DaDa!??...lol...) vampires. ( His wife is from meheeco..makes sense to me...all those relos ,tequila sunrises & and chicken fajitas (sorry...that was poor) to catch up on!)

The Danish Cammpionships were held the day after Rassmussen submitted his
diary late so probably they didn't have time to suspend him for that.
It does appear that everyone is using the attention of the tour to their
own ends. Leaking the A sample result for Sinkewitz in the middle tour is
also suspicious.

There does have to be some sanction against Rassmussen though, athletes can
avoid testing by being unfindable e.g. those Greek sprinters before the
*l*mp*cs.

it's amazing that a guy that rode a good Pyrenees OR a good Alps but was never consistent enough for GC, and was a poor time trial rider, is now riding consistently well day after day with excellent recovery powers. It does raise suspicions somewhat.

Umm he is training harder and getting older and therefore gaining more ability to keep going day after day. Lance was not exactly the Lance we all know early on.... you need to get older to get the legs needed.

and he went missing on 3 occasions inadvertently making himself unavailable for drug tests. He's improved his time trial pace by about 10 minutes (compared to previous years) in 1 year!!
