  1. Friday night is Panini Night at my daughter and son-in-law's, with
neighborhood kids often joining the family to build their own panini for
    Himself to grill.

I joined last night's group for the panini buffet -- assorted deli meats,
cheese and veggies with his just-made ciabatta -- and it was a sight to
behold. I assembled mine from peppered prosciuttio, a goat's-milk brie and
    thinly sliced red onion.

And I got a ciabatta to bring home.

Did I get a winner for my SIL? Yes indeedy.

That's a great idea! Do they have a special panini grill/press?

I happen to think it's the other way around, myself.

Aw shucks, she said as she blushed. It's really a two-member mutual
    admiration society.

On the subject, my mother once said of my husband that if I hadn't married
him she would have adopted him.

    We're a lucky-in-love family!
