  1. Breakfast was a 'recovery breakfast' with another 2 couples at one of the
local cafes'. Bacon, eggs, toast, hash browns, coffee, Pepsi Max :-)

Lunch was a simple working mans lunch :-)

The bubbly was part of a raffle prize, but it turned out to be pretty good.
We both like a dry bubbly.

My "recovery breakfasts" tend to include more in the way of hydration: Big
glasses of milk (or lassi or kefir) and juice (my juice choices vary), and a
little cup of coffee. Nowadays I like a bit more protein than just bacon and
eggs; I'll go with ham or low-fat sausage instead of bacon, and I'll
sometimes include cheese. The way I cook my eggs is completely a matter of
    whim.

Does the CD serve any purpose, or is it just for decoration, like Andy's
    bottle of Elmer's Glue?

    yeah, yeah, yeah.

    Glad you enjoyed your meal.

    I think I hate you.

Of course, eveything could change if you humored me and invited me
    over a change.

Good grief, Bob... didn't you know "everyone" uses the sharp edge of a
CD to split open shrimp shells? Sheesh.

You can tell the 'twit-illeger', the CD was for size reference.

That was just over a kilo of prawns.

Sure did. About 3 hours later we went and had nibblies and drinks with
the people from the 'recovery breakfast'...... then went to our local
club for a couple of drinks, and by the time we got home, we (READ: me)
couldn't be arsed cooking anything for dinner!!

So dinner was a quick scrounge in the fridge and freezer.

1/2 the prawns were left......... they're going into a fried rice dish
I'm doing for the next couple of days.

1 bun, 1/2 dozen prawns, 1/2 an avocado, some rocket and some lemom
juice and I was as full as a fat ladys' knickers!!

Australia is definately on my list of must visit places. I'd make it
a twofer and include New Zealand.... where I'd look up Kathy in NZ,
    too.

    A worldwide 'Foodie crawl' :-)

Airfares to NZ from Oz are as cheap as chips lately. So if you ever did
get out here, wait till you're here to buy your NZ ticket.
