I managed a whopping 23 miles on Saturday, spent most of the day
trudging around in the rain in the New Forest. I love it when it
rains, it seems to keep all the dog walkers and tourists at bay. Those
that I did see where straggling around in shorts and tea shirts in
contempt of the atrocious weather ! I had more goretex socks in the
boot of the car, if only I had bothered to put them on it would have
made all the difference. So when is summer scheduled to start
anyway ?
