Filey Brigg - Wolds Way

It's not exactly a long walk, you really need full low tide to get to
the end as even at lowest tide the highest bit is not far above sea
level.

a free tide calculator. I wouldn't use it for any life or death
decisions, but it will probably give you a pretty good guide.

Ah, that second one is superb, the Beeb only does Whitby it seems not Filey.
Thanks to Neil and coastwatch too. I think I'll do it at 1300 onwards, not
the 0100 one!

Was on the middle section of the Wolds way today, Nunburnholme to
Fridaythorpe, gosh that is a pull up those steep valleys where the Roman
road is towards Huggate. Still it was decent weather, unlike tonight when I
got home to a real electric and thundery storm. Having to do the Way in
sections as I can't afford the time to B&B, so it's a bit of a pain having
to retrace my steps but still.... (ah for ye olde bus and train services)
and I sometimes change the route back for interest. Loads of bulls around at
present, four at Millington, and a herd of Highland cattle and bulls further
on. the leader stamps its foot and the others copy... "I'm a tough guy..."
