Backpacking tent

Can't answer your question directly, but looking at the tent do note
that if there's two of you then it will be quite... intimate!
Particularly irksome is the way the sleeper at the back has to clamber
over the one at the front if they need a pee in the night, a bore for
both concerned. Also, narrow as it is it will mean head to foot
sleeping unless you're both very narrow around the shoulders, in which
case one sleeper will have considerably less headroom than the other.
Also, for both to sit up at the same time means the person behind has
rather limited possibilities of things to do...
One can't complain about the price, of course, but I suspect you'll wish
you'd got something bigger and/or with twin porches or where both
sleepers have good access to a single big porch.

Thanks Pete for that advice. It is in fact going to used just for myself. I
prefer the extra 'person' rating as I've learnt even from family tents that
manufacturers are always that little bit generous with their ratings. On
that basis I think the Banshee will be fine for use by myself. As for the
difference between the 06 and 07 models I've since heard that the Banshee is
a new 2007 tent anyway.

Good call, and it looks fine for solo use. Our current search for a
slightly more comfortable/spacious but slightly heavier touring tent
includes 3 person flavours on the shortlist for the same reason you've
discovered!

Just bought the very same tent on eBay for a near bargain of 58 pounds.
Arrived yesterday though as its wet at the moment not assembled it.
However, it looks nice and comfortable for 1 and not too weighty either to
carry. Looking forward to my first night out!

Just got home from buying mine and I'm impressed. I paid a little more from
the high street, £65 with a voucher for one night's free camping for 2
people at a site near Buxton (normally £13.00 for 2 people per night).
