  1. Try warm island walking, El Hierro the smallest and least known of the
    Canary Islands, famous for the peace and tranquility. There are many
    footpaths, caminos reales, the views are incredible.

    we didnt do a lot of walking, (back trouble) but I think it needs to
    be winter unless you really like the heat.

  3. As I recall, very rocky and lots of bird life but not many people. Didnt
    get there but looked fantastic.
