Has anyone come across any reviews or info from people who have actually seen the unit? I believe it was shown at the OS Outdoors Show among other places.
My main reservation is the prospect of having to fork out again for map data that I have already paid for once (through Anquet) but I suppose in the wonderful world of OS licensing there's no way round it.

Wonder if it would work on my Hewlett Packard Pocket PC - which looks like that reader and has an SD card slot.

Any thoughts?

Looking at it, isn't there a mention of it in this month's Trial or TGO??
Looks familiar, probably in Dave Mycroft's article in TGO?

I have only found one mention of this device in the archives: http://www.satmap.com/ It's meant to be out in June and looks very interesting, both for walking and for cycling (a handlebar mount is meant to be available). The website is a bit useless as far as providing any useful info, although there are more details on a PDF file at http://www.satmap.com/eshot/Satmap_product.pdf Has anyone come across any reviews or info from people who have actually seen the unit? Looks like the kind of thing I was looking for, but the maps are again overpriced, and the lack of 1:25 ....searches a bit more...ah I see 1:25 all areas will be available , so maybe this could be quite good.
