I was up in ELD last week and spent a couple of nights in a PA1 close to Ullswater. I did a couple of shortish walks test driving my new 400D with 17-85 and 10-22 lenses.
Day one was a trip over Bonscale Pike, Arthur's Pike, Loadpot Hill and Wether Hill finishing off down the ridge of Steel Knots.
Day two up over Beda Fell to Angletarn Pikes and then back down Bannerdale as the hot weather was taking its toll. I managed to espy the red deer up on The Nab and a few tiny trout in a stream feeding Angle Tarn.

'sfunny. I've got the slashes running the right way and checked they opened before posting. It might have been Orange/wanadoo/freeserve having a hicough. I couldn't log on the other day for a while but may have nothing to do with it. Anybody else?

Looking forward to seeing your 400D pics as well.
I'm getting there with the developing in PS, two and a half gigs worth in two days is almost Saunders-like.
