  1. Hi,

Which routes to the Pike would you recomend to a walker with a fear of
heights. I ask as I took a friend upto Eskdale last week where we
attempted the Pike via Great Moss and Little Narrowcove. The rocky
scar was fine until we reached Chambers Crags where the path became
both steeper and more boundler strewn. If we had continued the
scramble upto the top of Little Narrowcove, would there have been much
exposure on the way to the summit? Maybe it appeared worse from below
(I hope so because I would like to attempt the summit via this
    original route).

I had originally planned a route with from Wasdale over the Corridor
Route or from Langdale over Ill Crag and Broad Crag but binned both
ideas due to possible exposure indicated on the OS map.

    Cheers,

    Paul.
