Hey Paul you don't by any chance drive a white Golf size car do you? And
if so were you passing the base of Fan Gyhirych on Sunday at about 5pm
BST?

Yes. One of my regular visits. I had just come down the steep side of
Fan Gyhirych and was staggering Southwest along the road completely
knackered wondering how to get back to base before meal time when what I
thought might have been your car passed by.

As it was I was able to flag down a passing motorist* and persuade him
to phone base to get me a lift back.

*One of my walking companions from earlier in the day who I had
abandoned 4 hours earlier so I could get in a few extra summits. He had
previously said he wanted to get away by 5 so I had hoped that if I
could reach the road before 5pm (which I did with 5 minutes to spare) I
might just manage to flag him down. Otherwise I would have kept well
clear of the steep descent for Fan Gyhirych which I have learnt to
positively hate.

They opened it in the garage the other day. It didn't have a thing to hold
it up. I think it was the wrong way around, IIRC.

Not yet no. But a short while ago I received an email which said "This mail
has been escalated to Cloudmark and their systems have been updated."
So maybe it will work now. I'll try again soon, maybe tomorrow.
While we're paging Paul, myself and the SO nipped up Wolstonbury Hill
Monday night to enjoy the extra hour of sunshine with a packed lunch.
