  1. Chew each bite of your food 20 to 30 times! Works like magic!
Oh and while doing it, enjoy the flavor of the food!

How about Chewing 30 times and enjoying the flavor AND then spitting
    it out?

Hrm... how about just chewing styrofoam? It's all fiber and you can
chew it way more than 30 times. I'm told rubber erasers will work well
    too.

You ARE talking about styrofoam, right, and not octopus? That's the reaction
I had to it when I tried it. Chewed forever, but it never changed.

Octopus has the added disadvantage of being edible, and therefore
    digestible.

FWIW: I don't eat cephalopods for the same reason I don't eat apes,
    monkeys or whales. Too smart.

I like my animals dumb and beefy, porky, chickeny, etc.

  6. Pigs are very smart.

So, after you chew and chew and chew, you just give up out of boredom and
swallow the resulting rubbery mass inside your mouth, leaving it to your
    intestines to work on?

I have a friend who doesn't eat pork for the same reason - pigs are
    too intelligent.

Personally, I am unable to use intelligence as a scale for what I will
    or will not eat.

After all, if I chose meat based strictly on intelligence, I'd be
forced to cannabilism under many circumstances.

Sushi. The real meaning of Tako.

Or ravens. Yet I do eat octopus at sushi places and calamari
at some other places. Weakly held principle in my case.

Filling up on sushi must get really expensive on a low-carb diet...

  13. When low carbers eat it, it's sashimi. Sushi is actually the rice part.

Good thing high-protein low-fat low-carb is just as filling as high-
    fat
medium-protein low-carb. Good thing the meals tend to come with
miso soup and a salad. Good thing low carb in general tends to
reduce appetite. And with all that it does still get expensive ...
