    Pete.

    Are you bored or something?

Pop a DVD into the computer for pity sakes!
I just finished watching "Total Recall" on my computer.
It's what I do when I'm bored, aside from house cleaning and cooking.

    Or working out. ;-)

I think the Internet is the only place where people invest good time
    and
possibly money, in hanging around people they hate. And actively
    talking about their hate.

If it were TV and you watched a program you didn't like, you'd change
    the
channel or turn it off. Ditto the radio. For some reason, people are
    drawn to
the stuff they don't like on the net. Like Pete and the obese. Pete,
    for your own
sanity, if the obese make you ill or uncomfortable, just hang out in
    MFW, and
    effectively change the channel.

    Sucker.
BP is 110 over 55. And I'm not really chubby, either. Losing 60 lbs
    will do that.
Course the BP was normotensive 60 lbs ago.

You might want to drop the roids. The juice has made you dumb and

Uhm, I'll thank you for using the right term. I am merely overweight,
and not by all that much.
6'2" 207 lbs = BMI 26.6, closer to normal than obese.

Clearly, you were born dumb and have done nothing to remedy it in the
time between your birth and the present day.

BMI doesnt mean anyting. Mine is 34 and used to be 40.

With 26.6, its still possible to be "fat."

    Uhm, yeah. Duh.
However, I would like you to give me a technical definition of obese.
One where we can take someone's measurements and say "This person is
obese and this person isn't." Categorically. Last I checked, for all
of it's flaws, BMI is the measurement we use to say, "Overweight,
Obese, Morbid, Super Morbid, etc". If you have a better one, please
    share.

Do you have a cut off point between normal, overweight, obese, morbid,
    etc using bodyfat percentages?
Have seen ones that are age and sex dependent. Based on the last one I
saw, I am not obese either. Nor
overweight. BMI shows me in the worst light, category wise. But if I'm
going to argue the point, why not use
the worst case stat. If I pass on that, I must pass on all else.

PS- I understand the inherent flaws with BMI (no composition
measurement first among them), but it
seems to be used in science, the public sector and the private sector,
    including hospitals and HR plans.
You know and I know that it's not great science. But, we (the majority
of the country including the folks
in our public health sector) use it as a rough guide. That's all.

Move on. It's not that big a deal.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

And so is a life, but you seem happy eating yourself to an early
    grave.

Thanks for showing late. I've dropped 60 lbs. I've cut bodyfat in
    half. Actually, more than half.

Something funny: My "Real Age" dropped from 37 to 22. And I eat a low
carb diet, so I lose years for too much dietary fat consumption, too
much meat, low grains, and low lycopene. My "Real Age Plan" was a 20+
page document last year. It's now 5 or 6. Goofy, but fun.
