  1. Saturday morning our daughter took us for breakfast to a place new to
us. It is called "Crazy Ottos" and is located in Phoenix, Arizona @ 3502
    W. Greenway Rd. They also have locations in Lancaster, CA and Acton, CA.

We were fascinated by the menu which offers low carb options on most
meals. There are 16 omelet varieties plus you can build your own!

If the item has a small diamond preceding the description it is
available in low carb version. They only serve breakfast and lunch, but
the lunch menu strongly resembles dinner choices.

The portions are outrageous. The wife and I shared an omelet and it
was plenty. The standard omelet is made with six eggs!

The server was very nice but a bit forgetful. Our breakfast needed some
flavor tune-up but that is not unusual anywhere these days. Overall it
was a pleasant experience. Hopefully we can get back for another try soon.

It is refreshing to see the low carb emphasis. Apparently someone in the
organization is familiar with our eating style.

    George

I know! It's such a distraction when they forget to put the Tobasco on the
    table right away!

True, but I've seen it come and go in several restaurants. Like Ruby
Tuesday - they started having a separate menu showing nutritional info, but
that and most of the offered items went away. I guess it scares people to
know if they think they're being healthy and having a fish platter with
veggies, that the portion is still over 1000 calories. LOL

Please pay attention: you need to ask George what restaurant it was.
