  1. I found the Wonder Lite White Bread at Walmart. I bought it. Just got home
and tried a slice. It has the good ole white bread look and texture but
still has a hint of fake...haha. All in all, pretty good though. Advertises
9g of carbs. Actually has 18 with various subtractions but is still low for
    bread.

P.S. Could use some more stores added to the products on the website. Almost
all I have so far are in the southeast.

The last time I bought LC bread (don't remember the brand, but it was
5g/slice net), the slices were so small and flimsy that they would
have been 10g if they'd been typical sandwich slices.

The main reason I would ever buy bread (on LC or not) would be to make
sandwiches. If the bread is so soft that the mayo soaks through onto
my fingers before I'm done, what's the point? Make it LC by using
higher-fiber grains, not by replacing most of the flour with air.

Hey, Have you tried the SaraLee lite bread? It is low on carbs and it
actually tastes pretty good. I try not to eat bread at all, but when
I do, I use the SaraLee product and it satisifies that bread craving
without a significant increase in carbs.

I'm currently using Arnold Bakery Light - 6g Net Carbs per slice. Makes a
good sandwich. Comes in 100% Whole Wheat and 7-Grains.

That's another one I haven't seen around here. I seem to remember seeing it
at Albertsons once but I looked for it the other day and didn't see it.

Ok, I'll add Walmart. Maybe different Walmarts carry it.

Wow....you've undertaken a huge task there, John. You must have boundless
energy in your new LC WOE. I saw noted several items missing and don't even
feel like pointing them out! So you're definitely a powerhouse!

Thanks. I wish more people would report seeing items in stores. All I see,
    personally is Florida.

After several days of the Wonder Lite White Bread - I won't buy it again -
phoney taste, toasts badly.... to me, you may find it fine. I'm still using
the Peppridge Farm Carb Style - pretty decent.
