My little family has to make a foray to San Franciso this weekend to pu the oldest on a flight to see her Dad for Spring Break. The hotel we are staying at is in Burlingame near the airport. Now my request, she is flying a redeye so I was hoping for some place nice but not over-the-top for dinner since she is going to miss Easter at home. I have already had a chat with customer relations and arranged a special E. Bunny surprise for Easter morning since she will be in flight.
So does anyone have a good restaurant recommendation for the Burlingame area that is not going to drop me into a scary neighborhood and is going to appeal to my kidlets as well as hubby and I but isn't a "chain"? I know I am being far to picky but we don't make it to the Bay too often and this a great opportunity for a nice dinner out. Of course I don't want to spend a fortune, but I already know that are a plethora of price ranges in the Bay.
Last but not least, is there a good natural market in that part of town? I so hate to have to go all the was down into town. I am not a lover of traffic and we have to get home in time for the family Easter lunch and egg hunt at my parents.
I know I have bored most of you into quiet slumber. Sleep well. And if you made it this far and have some recommendations I would very much appreciate it.

Cindi,
If you like Italian, you might try Kuleto's in Burlingame. It's right off 101 just a few miles south of the airport with a pretty big sign you can see from the freeway. It's not 5 stars, but we like it and it's reasonably priced.

Not sure what you mean by a "natural market"..... A Farmer's Market that features organic products? I have absolutly no idea what goes on South of the City, but if you make it to Park Bistro, it's kitty corner from the Draeger's Market in San Mateo. It's quite a shopping experience, from what I hear. Hmmmm. Looks like you can have Easter dinner at Draeger's too! http://viognierrestaurant.com/menu_easter.html
