Since Comcast took over giganews, the newsserver has been "blue-moon" problematic.
When did comcast "take over" giganews? I know they've farmed out their news service to giganews so they don't have to be responsible for what goes wrong, but when did they actually "take over" Giganews? I'd like to know so I can throw it in their face when something goes wrong with my news feed.

Give me a URL that states it plainly. PLEASE!!

sf,
That tidbit of info came directly from Comcast's Jackie in TS over the phone.
Too bad I didn't have that "this call may be recorded" thingy in place to prove it! 🙁

Sounds like more comcast/giganews buck passing, Andy.... "It's not *our* fault!
I'm welll acquainted with the concept, except they didn't take it that far with me. This turn of events may work out, if it's true, because then I can hold comcast responsible the next time [censored] happens with my news feed (a rarity, thank goodness).
