I only see them if they're follow-ups or somebody responds to
them (which doesn't always work in *this* group since there are
so many people who just can't help themselves from responding to
obvious spam and trolls). But it elimites me seeing 95% of that

The good ol' boys at Mozilla haven't built that kind of power into the
SeaMonkey newsreader filter yet. I can use "Subject", "From", or "Date",
and that's all it gives me.
Ya do what'cha can wit' what'cha got.
Yeah, I could take my pick of several better newsreaders, but I'm just
plain lazy, is all.
It would be a fine thing if nobody ever posted a reply to a troll or a
spammer, but I don't think it's going to happen. Too many people seem to
think trolls and spammers read replies to the posts their 'bots put up.
