    Quoted message said:

Dr. Chung - can we eat carbs since we are hungry?

The world would have you believe that type-2 diabetics can not eat
    carbohydrates.

    Here's the truth:

    Glucose is carbohydrate.

If you did not eat complex carbohydrates (ie bread), which are broken
down to supply glucose, your liver would have to break down protein to
    synthesize glucose (gluconeogenesis).

The latter would not be a good thing.

Oh goodie. Time to break out the Oreos.

Oreos are unlikely part of the healthy balanced diabetic diet that
your doctor(s) has recommended for you (sucrose is broken down into
fructose which is not optimal for a diabetic).

This simply shows that you have in your heart that terrible lie that
hunger/craving is bad compelling you to eat when it is not time to
eat, to eat wrongly, and to overeat.

Until you overcome the lie, you will remain a "slave."

May GOD bless you in HIS mighty way making you healthier (hungrier)
    than ever.

Actually, I should eat lots of carbs to expedite my demise.

You could do that with an inordinately excessive amount of anything.

May GOD give you wisdom to do otherwise:
