It is a matter of weighing the evidence ..
There is evidence fish oil is .. good ..
There is evidence fish oil is .. bad ..
It is the .. terrain .. the fish oil is spread INTO .. IE: the human
body.
The fish oil you take IF .. the body was in good condition .. would
probably not manifest itself as .. adverse .. for quite some time ..
When the body is in a state of .. dysfunction .. and the fish oil is
introduced .. means the fish oil has NOW been spread INTO .. a ..
terrain / human body .. which is NOW .. **unprepared** FOR this ..
influx of .. **oxidation causing** .. oil / fish oil.
There is a theory of imbalance of antioxidants in the body. IE- Linus
Pauling and his 18 grams of vitamin C / day.
The body is in a constant state of oxidation and antioxidation.
Antioxidants quench the oxidation.
IF the body has LOW .. antioxidants .. and one INTRODUCES a
substance .. such as fish oil .. WHICH .. **increases** oxidation ..
then you will deplete what little antioxidants you DO have PLUS will
be unable to **control** / quench / the free radicals / oxidation of
which the fish oil CAUSES an increase.
Soooo .. fish oil .. according to .. evidence .. IE: **increased**
oxidation .. would be bad ..
But .. what .. choice do you have .. ?
Because it seems .. plant oils don't fare much better.
Evidence shows when plant oils are spread in this same terrain .. they
TOO are oxidized at a high rate .. DUE TO .. ? .. the IRON .. present
in copious .. amounts ..
Sooo .. one could weigh the .. evidence ..
Iron oxidizes and depletes .. antioxidants .. and a depletion of
antioxidants causes a lack of **ability** to quench oxidation ..
So when oxidizing oil is introduced the .. antioxidant POTENTIAL /
antioxidant stores .. go **down** even more ..
When a plant oil is introduced INTO a .. terrain .. which is depleted
in antioxidants .. it seems they TOO become .. a .. problem.
So .. being that iron reduction is NOW being tested IN diabetes .. one
might suspect .. the removal of this increased oxidation / iron ..
might NOW cause .. one: fish oil to work .. or two: might allow plant
oils to work.
But the .. key .. ? .. is the removal of the increased oxidation ..
BEFORE .. the liberal sprinkling of .. oils .. INTO the .. terrain /
human body.
That would be using .. science.
Who loves ya.

diseases such as macular degenerative diseases that result in
blindness and involve "brain lipids" that contain an omega-3 fatty
acid that is abundant in fish oil. Brain lipids are very rare in the
body, but are found in nerve cells and in the photoreceptor rod cells
of the eye. Salomon and Clinic researchers suspected that the energy
from light on the receptors might promote oxidation and damage.
Through mass spectroscopy studies, they have begun to see protein
modifications that are similar to those in heart disease." UNQUOTE.
