  1. Indian J Exp Biol.

Influence of alignment of the pyramid on its beneficial effects.

The present study was aimed to find out whether a change in the
alignment of the pyramid from the north-south axis causes any
variation in the effects produced by it on plasma cortisol levels and
markers of oxidative stress in erythrocytes of adult-female Wistar
rats. Plasma cortisol and erythrocyte TBARS levels were significantly
lower whereas erythrocyte GSH was significantly higher in rats kept in
pyramid that was aligned on the four cardinal points--north, east,
south and west, as compared to normal control rats. Although there was
a significant difference in the plasma cortisol level between normal
control group and the group of rats kept in randomly aligned pyramid,
there was no significant difference between these two groups for the
other parameters. Erythrocyte TBARS levels in the group of rats kept
in the randomly aligned pyramid was significantly higher than that in
the group kept in the magnetically aligned pyramid. The results
suggest that the north-south alignment of the pyramid is crucial for
    its expected effects.

Didn't this pyramid [censored] fade away with the 70's? I remember some
nuts building pyrarmids to sleep in.

Somebody even claimed (don't try this at home, kids!) that perishable
food could be kept fresh in a pyramid.

Why did I hear "Dark Side Of The Moon" as I read this?

Uri Geller was selling some pyramid thing only a few years ago. Maybe
he's still selling it. After all, he's still bending spoons too. And
using magnets to move a compass. Ooops, sorry, I don't want to get sued,
I mean that it looks a lot like he's using a magnet to move a compass.

These groups being .. science .. based ..makes one wonder what
criteria you have used to discern .. **laughability" ..

    You are saying .. the study .. is .. wrong .. ?

What PART of the study would you say .. makes it a .. bad ..
    study .. ?

The FACT that ALL variables were .. covered .. ?

The study was done .. too .. well .. ?

IF he had only used one or two .. placings .. OF .. the pyramid .. you
could have claimed some sort of .. easily reproducible .. problem WITH
the study .. BUT .. he used far more than one or two placings of the
pyramid .. and the ONLY one placing which made a **difference** ..
    is .. right angle placing.

    You .. disagree .. ?

  6. Royal Rife and Georges Lahkavsky are better exampes of how
elecromagnetism effect biological structures. The "resonance" of
microbes and cells and electromagnetic frequencies on these structures
have been thoroughly studied by these two gentlemen. A great discovery
on frequencies that destroy microbes and on strengthening cells should
have been front page news. Look up Royal Rife and the Multi Wave
Oscillator on your searches. The two technologies described are very
similar in effect. One deals with isolating the resonance of microbes
and blasting them with certain frequencies, the other deals with
    strengthening cells with other frequencies.
As far as pyramids go...I should look deeper, I have heard of
health benefits, but remain guarded. I would hate to see pyramid hats
detract from the real science of electromagnetic cures. Because I
understand the two technologies above, it makes it easier to grasp why
Kevin Trudeau would list electromagnetic chaos as one of the four root
causes for all disease. Electromagnetic fields do indeed effect
biological structures. Skeptical? Place your face and hands against an
energized TV screen for a short period and you will get a migrane from
hell! Some frequencies strengthen microbes and others weaken cell
structures. This is why laptops and cell phones may be hazardous to your
    health.

Heh. They're unsinkable rubber duckies. Even Peter Popoff is back in
business. And going strong I might add.

Geller's latest effort is to get YouTube to remove some videos because
they violate his intellectual property. You can see the videos at
    www.randi.org

This is the latest method for charlatans to suppress criticism. Sylvia
Browne tried it on with Robert Lancaster, Sandra Cabot claimed
trademark violation by me (but one of the things she said was a
trademark isn't - perhaps she just can't help herself), and Benny Hinn
used the same approach to YouTube as Geller. You can see what Hinn
    objected to at
