Live Google Earth tracking?

I don't know that anyone has implemented live tracking like in 2006,
but there is at least a KMZ overlay showing the routes taken by each

made a layer for Google Earth tracing the entire route of the three-week
bike race. Here's a direct link to the KML file. You'll also need Google
Earth, which is a free download."
