Difference between a-tex and windstopper?

waterproof, but might be 'showerproof', which means it will keep a little rain off.

What is best for you depends on your other clothes and what conditions you wish to cycle in.

Don't apologise for your English, its better than most in here!

I guess you mean GoreTex and Gore Windstopper?

Goretex is wind and water proof but breathable - ie kees rain out but lets sweat/perspiration out
(in theory, but never works completely)

Windstopper is as the names says, a wind proof fabric. Not waterproof but very windproof. Better
than nothing in a very ligh shower bu in heavy rain gets wet, heavy and cold (windchil = cold)

It sounds to me as if Windstopper is more breathable.

I don't like cycling in rain but I never know what wheather will be. In Poland in winter temperature
is over -10 C.
