  1. Got a road bike with Ultegra and considering switching a triple for the
    existing double. What parts have to be switched out to do that properly?

  2. Assuming you have 10 speed (6600 series) Ultegra you would need a crankset,
    front derailer, rear derailer and front shifter.

    If you have the last generation, 6500 , 9- speed, you need a new crankset,
    bottom bracket, front derailer, rear derailer.

    You'll need a bottom bracket, left shifter and *maybe* front
    deraileur (and right crank of course)
