What is everyone using for TT Tires? I'm currently running Tufo Tubular Clinchers on my HED3's but received some information from a trusted source that says I'm running about the slowest tire our there.....I don't need any help going slower....have that down pat!
All my rims are clinchers for the convenience etc so that's what I'm looking for....any suggestions?

Do a search on the slowtwitch.com forum. Lots of information there about rolling resistance. Yes, you have the slowest tires going. Lowest RR in most tests are usually the high-end Michelin and Veloflex clinchers.
For a TT tyre, Michelin Pro 2 Race in 19 mm fit the bill for me. Low rr, not too pricy, and for a race tire, the durability isn't bad (although, I only use them for racing). YMMV
Where do you find the 19mm in the Mich Pro 2 Race? I am leaning heavily towards the Michelin's but all I can see are 20 & 23mm?
thanks,
James

Ooops! You are correct, I just checked mine and they are, indeed, 20 mm. I was daydreaming and must have been thinking of my track tyres :o Sorry about that.
Well I've decided to go with the Michilen Pro 2 Race. It seems to be the best of both worlds with reduced rolling resistance and decent puncture resistance.
Well the Michilen Pro2 Race tires on my HED3 Clinchers on the new TTX seem to like me. Not sure what all was the deciding factor but I was 40 seconds faster than my goal for the 20K TT Course Sunday and I beat several teammates and other racers that I never have before. Something about the combination worked for me!

I've heard good things about the pro race 2's. Just bought a new set of the gp4000's so maybe I'll try them next time. What I really need is a nice set of TT wheels. Anyone have 1500 bucks to loan me. 😄
