Just caught most amazing news footage, I'm sure it'll be posted on utube soon. It was of a cyclist crossing a road at a crosswalk, bus approaches, sees cyclist too late, brakes and swerves. Collects the cyclist side on just ahead of the bus's rear wheels, cyclist disappears under the bus, bus broadsides down road doing a 180 for 50m or so and just stops in front of oncoming vehicle. Bus driver piles out of bus and looks back to where the cyclist would have been. Cyclist rolls out from under bus and is apparently OK and walks away. Bloody amazing. Here's the news cast.
