  1. Folks,
i bought a new frame and it hasn't any cable stops for the XT V brake that i
intend fitting.Anything i can do about it?Or do i need to go disc brake at
the back as it has the mount?

Damn! So many folks have left A.M-B there's an echo in here!

Does it have mounting posts for the calipers?

You can get cable holders and use full length housing from the lever to the
brake. There may be some bosses for hydro hose on the frame.

Run full housing along the frame, hold it on with zip ties.

If you don't mind getting your new paint messed up, you could have
someone braze on some cable stops.

    Regards,
    Anthony

  4. Mounting posts are there.Braze ons might be expensive as it's a Titanium
frame.I'll run a full cable and cable tie it.Thanks for the replies.

That's because we're busy being bannded from ridePUNKey and mtbRETARDS
day in and day out. The mods on those forums need to earn their keep.
