I have a 110 bolt, pattern, triple,Sugino Crank with 48/36/26 rings.
I have other size rings, i.e. 28. I chose the ring sizes.
Shifters are Campy 10 Ergo.
Rear dearailleur is Ultegra 6500 long, Pulley bolts about 75 mm apart.
I plan on using Hubbub connection of rear derailleur to get it working
with Campy 10. I've had good success with this on MTB derailleurs,
i.e. XT and LX. I have a Campy long avaialable but would rather not
use it on this bike.
Bottom bracket is 113 mm BSC
Front derailleur is early XTR that was made to function with larger
rings.
Rear cassette Shimano 9 either 12/27 or 12/25
Chain either Sram 951 or Shimano 9. For informational purposes,
narrow 10 speed chains work wonderfully on 9sp systems but are co$tly.
Will the above combination work? Will I drag the bottom of the front
deraileur in something like a 26/21 combination? Will the rear
derailleur take up enough chain when the 26 ring and 12 cog get
crossed?
