  1. I'm on my fix today and I get rudely brushed by some [censored] in a
Lexus, New York plates "RJR INC". I wonder who will have the last
    laugh?

It amazes me when people with vanity plates look like that. I'd be
willing to bet a higher percentage of vanity plate cars sport marks of
vandalism than vehicles with normal plates. My truck stands out a bit
more than I'd like, but the plates are normal and I'm not a *@!$% when
I drive it. If you're going to brush cyclists with your high-dollar
sedan, leaving a business card may not be the best idea. Anyway, have
    fun with that!

My favorite vanity tag was on a muscle car that was just
*obviously* driven by some guy whose hobby was speeding - dual
    radar detectors and all that.

The tag read something like "WMMWNNW"

I was commenting more on the ironic aspects of somebody in his
(apparent) line of work showing that kind of indifference to others'
    safety.

    Light Up and be happy!

Stellar!!! I love it! I was once at the DMV (with over an hour wait,
mind you) getting plates a while back. The young girl behind the
counter seemed to believe it was far more important to get everyone a
"cool", "neat" or "cute" plate than to get people through the line in
a timely fashion. She seemed put off when informed that the next
plate in line, the plenty random one, would do just fine for me. Oh
    well.
