New website for next years completely new Madones. Bit more work has gone into this than Bobbies photo shopped giant image a few months ago!
I think the frames look great, and they have different length head tubes for "PRO" fit and "performance fit". Looks as though the entire industry has figured out that most of the high end bikes are bought by 40yo+ business men who can't tough thier toes any more, unlike the younger wanna be pros and sponsored teams who will still want the racer frame layouts.
List of new design features:
Compact frame
Integrated seat mast (clever execution)
Integrated bottom bracket (like the scott addict)
1.5" lower fork bearings (like cannondale?)
Pro, performance, and WSD fit frames
Red, Black, and White lables for the carbon grades so dodgy companies can't be seen to be using the same materials as Trek, but inferior processes.
Typical claims are reduced weight, increased stiffness, better comfort (hmm thats new from the markleting department). However if you go through the entire website you'll see the engineering department actually got to talk to the market department while the site was in developement (usually marketing are scared of the engineers, and never sell based on facts or reality).
