Bike magazines?

More race coverage, more destination coverage, Road or Mountain ?

I had a subscription to Bicycling for a couple of years in the early 90's, and then they started predominately covering mountain biking and re-running their Tech Tips, so I dropped them. This Forum is as good as anything I ever saw in Bicycling anyway.

Cycling Weekly from the UK, Bicycling Australia from OZ.

And Cycle Sport from the Uk as well is very good.

a new one here in the states just came out. It is Road Bike Action, I've gotten their first two issues and its very good, similiar to cycle sport out of the UK. I also like ROAD.

Sorry to hijack, but I've been looking for a nice magazine as well.

Are there any that focus predominantly on touring?

I really like roadbikerider.com. It comes to you every Thursday in your mailbox. This part is free and gives lots of pertinent info. You can subscribe to the premium site for $25. Look forward to it every Thursday.

Both have websites and magazines.

Ride, the ozzi mag published 4 times a year is fantastic. As is Rouleur mag, but at almost $18 US per issue it " don't come cheap", as they say. You have to read it to see if you think it is worth that amount of money. But, it certainly is different to all the other mags. VeloNews is a good mag and Pro Cycling and Cycle sport are good value and comprehensive in their coverage, Though I prefer the European (British) version to the US as naturally it seems to cover the classic cycle races better. American mags seem to have better technical coverage and information.

Im generally looking for magazines geared towards road bikes, not necessarily touring mags
