  1. I think it was Paul Kimmage that said he could tell if a rider is guity of doping based upon their public statements about doping. If the rider critisizes the press for covering the doping issue, says that doping is not as bad as other sports or criticisies riders for speaking out, they are probably juiced.

So, I am keeping a running track of riders that are [censored] that this stuf is coming out:

    DiLuca
    Menchov

    Anybody else?

  2. In DiLuca's case maybe (qualified maybe) its because the timing of the Telekom/T-Mobile exposes is tarnishing the Giro and his one big chance.

Why would you be so stupid to criticize statements if it implied guilt. By your logic, anyone saying doping and dopers suck is squeaky clean.

Sadly, Aldag did just that and was proven to be a doper and a liar.

  3. Serafino,

Your logic is illogical. I never said that a person is clean if they criticize doping. You are making big logic leaps.

  4. Yes, Paul Kimmage also said about last years Giro that he was horrified at how riders would climb like robots. How right he was, now that we know Basso was doping too.

  5. Indurain is added to my list: http://www.cyclingnews.com/news.php?id=news/2007/may07/may29news2

Possibility of his own doping notwithstanding (I am more skeptical these days for some reason), but that guy is the ultimate Gentleman.

  7. I can tell if a rider is doped based on whether they have a Pro Tour contract.

    Pro Tour rider = doper.

    Big deal.
