OK, can someone tell me what kind of bottom bracket I have and what tool I need to get it off. I hope these photos show it well enough. The cranks are Sugino if that helps😕 ...And yes, I know, it does look like C--P.... This is why I need to get it out to clean! Thanks.🙂

Nothing fancy, it looks liks an ordinary square drive, shimano or similar. 🙂
Tool, depends on the brand, but the standard Shimano type BB tool is it.

big whoops! you have the tool for the new external BB's, not the one you need. you need the park bbt-2 lor the new bbt-22, which replaces it.

With the way bottom brackets keep changing I have given up buying the tools.
