Well, it's a forum where the rule is that everyone posts anonymously,
so nobody tends to hold back on the opinions. But I don't see where
you get egomania, just a lot of over reaction. There's always a subset
of Cat 3's that think they're being held back by unfair competition. A
few years back they tried to run a 16 year old kid up to the 2's
because they were having trouble competing with him. That's how skewed
their perspective is.

I think there is some resurgence of junior racing right now -- at
least around where I am there are fields ranging from OK to good (20
to 60 kids) at a bunch of events as opposed to stupid sized (less than
10).

Any club can submit legislation. I don't recall the details, but it
was some form of anti-sandbagging legislation. Everyone knew it was
about CS dominating the 3's that season. Lots of people argued for and
against. It was voted down.
