Compact Crank

the BCD is most likely 110...if that is the case it should be no
problem to find rings for it...that is pretty standard equipment..

if not...you can always just give me the bike...i have had a desire
for a cross bike for some time now..

That doesn't sound like a compact. I'm pretty sure the Poprads come
with road BCD cranks, which is typical for cyclocross. It's probably
a 130mm BCD crank, in which case the 38 is as small as you could go.

If it is in fact a standard crank I'm sure you could sell it, pick up
an inexpensive compact, and break even-ish.
