I'm getting a trainer for my birthday in 2 weeks but I have a problem. I have a Cateye Micro Wireless computer but it's mounted to my front wheel. Is there any way to move the sensor to the rear wheel while I'm riding on the trainer or do I have to buy a brand new computer?

With a wireless unit you should be able to just move it to the rear wheel. Wired units generally require a new harness.

will the sensor be able to transmit the data accurately if i move it to the back?

Depends. My Cateye has had problems with the greater transmission distance to the rear wheel, but yours might work.
If you're desperate, you could move the computer mount down to the top tube where you should be able to get it close enough to the transmitter.
