The "crappy" (so you say) new one. I like it.

If you like that, check out a French
    movie called District B13.

I saw it and only the very beginning is relevant. The rest is pretty

yeah, but the sequences in the movie
    were pretty good throughout.

We should have patented the name back in the day. We still call it
body urban...and NYC is still the best place to do it in...

Fascinating stuff. Reminds me a little of high school hijinks that
should have gotten us killed, only these are way over the top. The
black guy at the opening in Bond, looks like one of the black guys in
parkour, I'd bet they're the same guy.

You'd have to see the movie. The new Bond chases a man playing an
African, who demonstrates many of the moves that the Parkour guys do,
and from my recollection, the guy being chased looks like one of the
same guys in the Parkour or Yamakasi videos. The character playing
the African may have had a stunt double, but it doesn't look like it.

He's totally amazing, as is David Belle, who definitely shows his
martial arts roots in his moves. Watching this stuff has inspired me
to see if there's a contingent of freerunners freely running around
here that I could train with. I used to be a decent gymnast about a
hundred years ago, spent a lot of years in the martial arts, and even
had a couple years of ballet. (Did I really admit to that?) 🙂
