  1. Anyone seen these yet this week? Supposed to be the best show for years. I was going to cycle out into the dark last night, but it was bucketing down.

    No---but there's a blimp floating above Borders on Magdalen Street with "Philip Pullman" written
    on the side.

    It will start bucketing down again at any moment, too.

    Wafflycat and I saw them a couple of nights ago. Not bad this time, but the display of March 1991
    was far better, but at these latitudes any sighting is a bonus. If you look at the second to last
    picture on this page (v. slow at moment) spacew.comaurora.html you can see a real
    time auroral prediction.
