After spending the last 2 years on a mtb and not using it for what it is intended(riding on 99.9% very smooth road) i have decided to sell it and get a bike that is better suited to the riding i do. My question is i am looking at a specialized Allez double and triple and i do not see the difference between the two. Secondly i am comparing them to giant ocr1 and the giant tcr and the giant tcx. If anyone has any of these please chime in, i am also open for suggestions i am in the sub $1500 market and am looking at buying new.

Might be easier to fit full fenders on a frame and brakes with more clearance around the tires like a TCX, which is a cyclocross bike. Do you want to carry stuff on a rack? If so, you'll want to check for braze-ons at the dropouts and on the seat stays...
