Campy Super Record high flange track hubs, Mavic Open 4 CD, 3X. I came up with 288 for the front and 288 for the rear (less than 1mm difference between left and right side 288.1/287.6). Does this seem correct?

without finding of the spoke calculators available on the net, it seems about right. Track wheels have almost no dish.

How many holes in the hubs?
Using my version of the Damon Rinard spocalc 2004, and the online DT Swiss calculators, I get:
293 front for 32-hole 3X and 293/295 for the rear 32-hole 3X
for 36-hole, I get 289 F and 288/289 R
I think that you could go 288 all around and be fine--as you calculated.
This is using a flange diameter of 67mm for all of the flanges.
