  1. need tough,puncture resistant 27 1/4" tires(peugeot)for nyc streets.
    any suggestions on brands?....looking to spend $30-50 each.

    Can you get tire liners in that size?? If so, i would definately recommend them over puncture resistant tires... for a number of reasons but primarily they are cheaper.

    If not then im not sure?

  3. Check out the Specialized Armadillos. Can't say if they are available in your size but they are incredible.

  4. I've had very good luck with Continental Ultra-Gatorskins as a commuting tire.

  5. i was getting ready to put Aramdillos on when the guy showed me the Bontrager($40) that just came out with kevlar on the sides of the tire,not only the middle.

    looked up bontrager,looks like a good tire...
