  1. Moderators and all....

This board could potentially be a great medium for us fans of cycling to discuss and learn about the sport. However, every single thread is hijacked by those who only want to discuss doping!! This is so frustrationg. My thread to discuss improving the TOC was instantly hijacked. It is the same culprits, usually started by WBT. Even though I have blocked his posts, he hijacks the threads and ruins them for everyone else. Cant doping discussions be limited to a doping page? Why do these people feel the need to do this? Join WADA or something more constructive! A thread where someone asks about Andy Hampsten becomes a doping thread!

Is there another forum site that has not been overrun by these doping hijackers?

Moderators, are you willing to do anything to limit the hijacking of these threads, by the same culprits over and over. It is ruining the enjoyment of this board for many of us, and I am going to look elsewhere.

Yeah this forum is pretty sad. I come on here from time to time just for kicks at seeing these crazies floundering around kicking and screaming. It's like watching a train wreck - hard to look away.

As far as moderators, fyi Limerickman is the only moderator of this particular forum and he's in bed with WBT. So don't expect any help there.

  3. And a thread about Unibet is quickly turned into another meleé.

I totally agree. Talking about doping on this site is way out of control. And the hijacking of threads happens with impunity. I myself have posted many threads only to have them hijack for something like selling a bicycle.

For example, I have a new Origin8 full carbon frameset that I'm trying to sell. Brand new. 60 cm, 12k weave, carbon dropouts. I'll even throw in a matching Origin8 seatpost, bar and stem, all carbon. The entire asking price is only $1,500. People this is a great bargain. New company committed to quality carbon products at reasonable prices. Here's their website: origin-8.com It's the lactic acid.

Anyway, it's people doing things like trying to sell stuff on the threads that really ticks me off the most. Isn't there a for-sale forum for [censored] sake?

Doping? Of course the doping issue is going to creep into a few threads now and then. It has too. Was Lemond on drugs? Yes. Is the ToC the EPO tour? Of course. Tous dope? You bet.

But this pointless hijacking of threads only to sell things must stop.

You say it's got those carbon drop outs? Do those stand up?

Yeah. I know the rep. He said he's sold more than 300 frames and no returns.

Of course. Me. I'll sign it if you want.

You? You're a doper. I don't want anything signed by a doper. I just assume Greg Lemond sign it if I want a doper to sign it.

I don't know. I think the jury is still out on whether Lemond doped. I am a doper, though. I'll admit that.

Lemond did too dope. Nike sponsored doper. Why you got to be a doper apologist? It's no good for the sport.

    Look at this:

    1) Marco Pantani--dead at age 34 from toxic doping

    2) Jan Ulrich--chased into an early retirement like a cowardly criminal running from police. Sort of reminds me of another steroid abuser, OJ Simpson wife beater and double murderer who sped away in a Ford Bronco on the 405 FWY.

Jan was fired by his employer T-Mobile, who knew him the best, ridiculed by the German press, and elected not to renew his Swiss race license for fear of more plasma testing. So he quit!

He will be forever remembered as the man who could not defeat Lance Pharmstronger and ran away from his doping troubles.

    3) Floyd Landis--testosterone overdose combined with more blood transfusions and multiple injections of other peptide hormones (hGH, insulin, IGF, EPO). He is finished as a TDF cyclist.

    4) Lance Armstrong-- Yes, he is clean. I know him well.

Some drug cheats are deemed losers, addicts, a quitter and a coward, whilst one is considered a clean and honest athlete.

    That's show business.

    Okay, you're right, ass clown.

So, you still interested in the frame set?
