Museeuw announced his retirement again. Does this guy put "no win" continencies in to these

He will end his career after the Scheldeprijs in Schoten, three days after P-R. 4 days later he will
be following the AGR from his new function within QSD (PR, directeur sportif, whatever). He also
donates his wage from 1 january till the day of his last race to the Kinderkankerfonds (Foundation
for Kids with cancer).

This has nothing to do with his decision that he stops after Schoten. He donates this money the last
months of his career because he wants to give something back to the people that gave him so much
during his career.

Yep. He seems to want to buy a guaranteed smooth ending. He does deserve it though so I do not mind.

What an amazing career. I remember him on the early Lotto and ADR teams. I thought he was just going
to be a pure sprinter but he sure learned plenty of ways to win races by the time his top speed
began to fade. He sure has a big motor. I wish I could see some power mumbers from a big race or
even some lab tests.

I still believe he's able to win Flanders or Roubaix next year. The way he won de Omloop Het Volk
this year shows that this guy is far from worn out. That should be great. But winning Gent-Wevelgem
is also fantastic. That's the only Flemish spring classic that he' didn't win so far.

Sure, but those are never a gurantee. I can really see why every time he talks retirement he plans
to go out after the spring classics instead of doing a full year.
